Join the Worcester Cultural Coalition for an Opening Reception of the newest installation of the Worcester Windows Community Gallery on Friday, September 16th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at 60 Franklin Street, Worcester, overlooking historic Worcester Common. Reception will include complimentary refreshments, live entertainment by Jazz Trane of the Joy of Music Program, along with walking tours of the community gallery footprint. Reception is FREE and open to the public.
Worcester Windows is a community gallery program which uses storefronts throughout downtown Worcester as exhibit space to enhance the City's downtown and to provide display opportunities for local emerging and established artists. Two Princeton Arts Society members are involved in the current exhibits.
Kathy Hebert - Kathy's original oil paintings which include landscape, still life, and portrait are on display at Lucky's Café, 102 Grove Street, and Commerce Associates, 340 Main Street. Kathy has been painting for over 40 years and has a studio in Worcester where she teaches adults how to be artists. Judy Tyler - Judy's photograph "Open for Business" is on display at Worcester City Hall, 455 Main Street as part of the Worcester Photography Group's exhibit entitled, "Architecture of Worcester." Access to the exhibit area is from the parking garage behind Worcester City Hall.
