Princeton Arts invites you to learn about fine art
reproduction and framing and matting at
GASTON ART and FRAME, Route 9, Shrewsbury, MA
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
John H. Gaston, Certified Picture
Framer, will give an overview of the fine art reproduction process. Attendees will learn about digital print making from image
capture to final printing. We will scan an original watercolor, do the color
correction, proof and produce a final print. Also, we
will discuss some of the many different digital printing media options and
their appropriate uses.
In the second part, we will
discuss appropriate framing for original artwork. We will cover the "dos
and don'ts" of “do-it-yourself”
framing and knowing when you should consult a professional framer.
