The first Thursday of each month, C.C. Lowell is hosting an open studio for creative women of all ages and abilities to get artsy over wine, hors d'oeuvres and great company! Facilitated by long time C.C. Lowell friend and talented artist Andrea Driscoll! What better way to spend a Thursday night?
C.C. Lowell invites you... Thursday, August 12th for "Exploring Color without Fear!" from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Have fun with color mixing with the media of your choice: water-based paints, colored pencils, markers, etc... (no oil paints please). Learn how to paint with a limited number of colors, try new techniques such as color wash, shadows, dry brush and other effects. Be experimental! No painting experience required.
What to bring: Any medium and brushes you prefer, or purchase basic kits at the store (entire store 20% off!) What else is helpful to bring: it is helpful to have scissors, glue stick or glue like Tacky glue, pencils, ruler, erasers, etc... We always provide: markers, pens, scrap paper, and lots of enthusiastic support and fun!
