Sat Feb 26 - Help move to new room!

Date: February 14, 2011 3:40:36 PM EST

Hi,

We need to move out of our old room by the end of the month.  Thus, I have scheduled our move from floor 2 to floor 1 on Saturday, February 26th @10:00am.  I would like to ask any of our members who can handle that kind of work to join me.  We don't have a lot to move, so it shouldn't take too long if we can get a few of us to help out.  We have some tables, chairs, shelves, display stands, books, and misc.  I have a hand truck that I will bring.  Please email me if you will be able to help:  susan@ulrichspacek.com

Thanks in advance - Susan

Subject: Re: [pas] Exciting News!

What wonderful news.....the new space is terrific and definitely bigger.... and it will be more accessible and more visible to the public. I wish I could be there to help with the painting etc. to prepare it for PAS. It is hard to believe that has been twenty years since this all began. My congratulations to all of you who have kept the society going and growing it so successfully.

Greetings to all of my old buddies and my best to you all

Exciting News

It is with a great deal of excitement that we share the following two news items with you.

First, the Princeton Arts Society will be moving into new quarters on the first floor at the Center Building on February 28th. This new space will not only provide more square footage but also provide easier access to members and the general public, thereby permitting us to expand our programs and offerings in the future.

Secondly, the Princeton Arts Society will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. In recognition of this special milestone, we will be expanding our annual Spring Show to include an open invitation to other area art associations and artists in surrounding towns. The show will be hosted at the Princeton Center Building. We are planning a gala event including a larger cash purse and receptions for both participating artists and the general public with refreshments, music, and other art-related events. More of this will follow, but for now please mark May 13 through May 15th on your personal calendars.

We will be asking for volunteers and assistance to make both of these events successful and we know we will be able to count on you for the support we need. Please let us know what area you would like to work on. Contact Len Haug at Len.Haug@princeton-ma.us to volunteer.

Regards, Susan
